Masonic Organizations To Hold Fundraisers For School Projects

St. Francisville Masonic Lodge #588 of Wayland will be hosting “Soup on the Run”, a soup dinner to raise funds for an outdoor classroom and walking trail at Running Fox Elementary School.
Some of the homemade soups available will be Cheesey Tater soup, Chili, Vegetable Beef and Sausage Corn Chowder. Peanut butter sandwiches and crackers will also be served.
The funds raised will be matched 2-to-1 by the Masonic Home of Missouri’s Creative Partnership program.
“Soup on the Run” will take place at Running Fox Elementary School, 27192 US Hwy 61, Alexandria, on Saturday, February 10, from 4:30 until 7:00pm.
Other local projects aided by the Masonic Home’s Creative Partnership program were the new stage curtains at the Clark County Middle School, and new playground equipment at Black Hawk Elementary School. Both of those projects were undertaken by Kahoka Chapter #40, Order of the Easter Star.
The Chapter is currently starting a new project to raise funds for a shade covering for the playground at the Indian Pride Learning Center.
On Saturday, February 17, the Chapter will hose the Third Annual Daryl Calvert Memorial Card and Bingo Party.
A taco bar meal will be start at noon at the St.Francisville Masonic Lodge #588, at 104 Henrietta Street in Wayland.
Following lunch, attendees can play euchre, pitch and bingo. All funds raised will go top the shade project for the Indian Pride Learning Center.
