The Black Hawk Elementary School held its annual school carnival on Saturday, April 11. The event was very well attended and enjoyed by all ages. One of the favorite attractions was the face painting room where attendees could get various themes painted on their face, such as the Ninja Turtle.
Students who attend Prom at Clark County High School will not have to pass a breathalyzer, at least this year.

Kite Day: On Friday, April 15, Revere School held a “Kite Day,” where students could bring their own kites or win a kite during lunch. They also held a kite flying session during the noon hour.
Districts: The Clark County Campus Bowl Team fell to Bowling Green in the district semi-final game, held Saturday at Clark County High School. The Indians tied for first place in the Tri-Rivers Conference.
Lazy in Luray: On Friday, April 15, Luray School celebrated “Lazy In Luray Day” as a reward for the student body completing a week of testing. Students and staff could wear pajamas, and as a bonus students could hit selected staff with cream pies.

Christopher Best and Gabriel Cooper received All-District medals, after being named among the top eight Campus Bowl players in the district.
Seth Allen and Christopher Best were chosen to attend the 1995 Boys State as delegates.
Aaron Watson is going to attend Missouri Scholars Academy at the University of Missouri.

Frank Berlin of Brunswick has been hired as the Clark County High School Principal.

The 1965 Betty Crocker Homemakers of Tomorrow are Karen O’Day and Anita Morrow. A missing boy, John Merrell, 13, was found Saturday morning, near the Glen Roberts farm, headed toward home. He reportedly slept in a barn, Friday night, keeping dry during the heavy rain.
