Water Main Break Friday Afternoon In Kahoka

A water main broke Friday afternoon in Kahoka, buckling Washington Street near the fire station as water flowed out.  The break reportedly occured as firefighters were refilling their tanker after responding to a fire near Wayland earlier in the afternoon. According to one firefighter, “This happens every time we fill that tanker.”
