In support of our Governor, our Clark County Health Department and the Clark County Commissioners the City of Kahoka is issuing the following announcement. Because of the threat of the spread of Covid-19 the Kahoka City Council effective immediately, will close areas in our city where there is a threat to public health and safety. These areas include public parks, park restrooms, ball park areas, batting cages, and the Farmers Market until April 30, 2020. This order will be re-evaluated at that time..
The walking trail at OMAKOHAK will remain open as per the Governors exclusions so the people of our city can get out and walk but Social Distancing will need to be maintained.
The City Police Force will also be enforcing the city curfew in all portions of the city as well.
The Council meeting scheduled for April 13th has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
