DORIS PERRY ANDERSON BOUDREAU

Doris Perry Anderson Boudreau, 72, of Kahoka died Monday, November 14, 2022 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

She was born March 17, 1950 in Harrison, Arkansas the daughter of Ralph Hollis and Jimmie Dee Richardson Perry. Doris graduated from Clark County R-1 High School with the class of 1968. On October 20, 1979 she was united in marriage to Marvin Boudreau in Kahoka, MO. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2012.

She loved being outside, loved her garden and beautiful flowers adorned every corner of her yard. She had a quick wit and great sense of humor that brightened many lives over the years.

Doris always put her family first and was always available to help and share in the activities of her children and grandchildren. The time she spent with her grandchildren was priceless and the memories that were made will live on in their hearts forever.

She is survived by two sons, Todd Anderson (Kelly) of Newhall, IA and Tony Anderson (Lori) of Kahoka, her daughter, Jennifer Schilling (Bryan) of Keokuk, IA, six grandchildren, Lane Anderson, Kelsey Watkins (Riley), Kourtney Meinhardt (Kyle), Kyle Anderson, Zoie Boudreau and Eden Schilling, one great grandson, Isaac Watkins and one step-grandson, Andrew Haerther. She is also survived by two brothers, Don Perry (Rayline) of Kahoka, and David “Butch” Perry (Peggy) of Kahoka, one sister, Dorothy Schorr (Doug) of Donnellson, IA along with many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents and a step-grandson Nick Haerther.

A memorial service was held 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka with Pastor Kim McNamar officiating.

Visitation was held Wednesday from 5 – 7 p.m. prior to the memorial service at the funeral home with the family meeting with friends at that time.

Memorials may be made to the Vigen Memorial Home for her final expenses.
