DOROTHY MAE (HASKINS) KAY MORRISON

Dorothy Mae (Haskins) Kay Morrison, 95, of Kahoka, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka, Missouri.

Dorothy was born to Joseph and Syvilla (Keppel) Haskins on August 17, 1930, in Keokuk, Iowa. Dorothy attended Keokuk Senor High School.

Dorothy was united in marriage to Henry “Hank” Kay, who preceded her in death in 1977. She later married John Morrison. He survives.

Dorothy was employed at St. Joseph Hospital in Keokuk in the cleaning department. She enjoyed yard-saling, going to the casino, singing, painting statues and puzzle books.

Dorothy is survived by 2 sisters: Nancy (Charlie) Malloy and Sheila Clardy of Keokuk; children Sheena Vaughn and Doug (Debbie) Kay of Burlington, IA, stepson Eric Morrison of Warsaw, IL, and stepdaughter Gretchen Haage of Edina, MO; 2 grandsons, numerous step grand and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and husband John Morrison.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, brother Joe and sister Ida, first husband Henry “Hank” Kay, 7 stepsons, 1 stepdaughter, and 2 brothers-in law.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk. Burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk at 11 am on Monday, September 8, 2025. Visitation will be held at the funeral home directly before the service from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
