MICHAEL LOUIS ALDRIDGE

Michael Louis Aldridge, 65, of Florissant, Missouri, formally of Williamstown, Missouri, passed away at 8:20 pm on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.

Michael was born on May 13, 1961, in Scott Air Force Base, Illinois to Walter Louis and Dorcas J. (Clines) Aldridge. In 1979 he graduated from Hazelwood Central High School. From high school he served in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Kathleen (Hessley) Aldridge at the Florissant Presbyterian Church on May 5, 1991, and she survives.

Michael was a truck driver for General Pet Supply and retired in 2015. He made many friendships and appreciated his job. Michael loved a good cup of coffee, listening to all kinds of music, watching all episodes and reruns of Star Trek. Michael and Kathleen looked forward to camping, and traveling with their RV. Especially the time they took it to South Dakata and were stranded there for five weeks. They always made the best of everything in life, never taking anything for granted, laughing and having fun.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 35 years, his son Justin Aber Aldridge of Troy, MO, his brothers Daniel and Christopher Scott Aldridge both of St. Louis, MO, his sisters Cindy and Amy Aldridge both of St. Louis, MO, a aunt Diane Hamilton of Kahoka, MO, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws C R and Myrta Hessley, a sister Debbie Wright and a brother-in-law Steven Hessley.

According to his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

Funeral Services with full military rites accorded by the AL Post 192, VFW Post 4342, Army Honor Guard will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, June 12, 2026, at Wilson & Triplett funeral Home, Kahoka, MO. Brother James Leezer will officiate. Visitation with family present will be held at the Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home, Friday, June 12, 2026, from 12:00 pm until time of service at 1:00 pm.
