CCR-1 Scholar Bowl Team Advances to State
CLARK COUNTY, Mo. — The Clark County High School varsity Scholar Bowl team is headed to the state semifinals after a hard-fought quarterfinal victory over Columbia Independent.
The Indians won the best-of-three series 2-1, rallying after a narrow loss in the opening match. Clark County fell by just one question in the first contest before responding with back-to-back wins to secure the series and a spot in the Final Four.
The team will compete May 8 at the University of Missouri, where the state’s top four teams will battle for the championship.
With momentum on their side following the comeback victory, the Indians will look to continue their postseason run on the state stage.
