Leonara Behra, (McCann), 91, formally of Alexandria, Missouri passed away at 5:50 pm, on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Illinois Veteran’s Home, in Quincy, Illinois. Leonara was born on May 27, 1934, in Cranston, Rhode Island to Anthony and Maria Caniglia. She was raised in Cranston, Rhode Island and attended school there. Draft Stip Lists $14.7 Million In Clark County Highway, Bridge Work

Clark County would see nearly $14.7 million in road and bridge construction work under MoDOT’s draft 2027-2031 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program, along with five additional projects listed for scoping or preliminary design. The draft STIP, which covers fiscal years 2027 through 2031, is available for public review and comment through June 5. Comments may be submitted to MoDOT by calling 1-888-ASK-MODOT or emailing STIPcomments@ modot.mo.gov. The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission is expected to consider the final program July 1. Clark County R-1 High School held its commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 17, at the high school gymnasium with family, friends, and community members gathered to celebrate the graduating Class of 2026.
