In response to a request from the members of the public, the sensitive topic of student drug testing was discussed by the CCR-1 Board of Education at their November meeting last Thursday.

Kahoka police officers are investigating 10 burglaries which occurred in the early morning hours of Thursday, November 8.

As expected, Kahoka residents will see an increase in  their electric rates next month.  On Monday night, November 12, the Kahoka Board of Aldermen gave its unanimous approval to a  rate increase.
